The Story Behind the Name

It was a typical Sunday morning.
I sat in church, as my pastor stood up and began his sermon.
“One day,” he said, “you’ll stand before God and he’ll ask you two questions. One, what did you do with my son? Two, what did you do with what I gave you?”
Those two questions stuck in my mind as the sermon went on. I was confident of the answer to the first question. I’d been born into a Christian home and had given my life over to God at the age of four.
But the last question kept bugging me. What had I done with what God gave me? Was I using my talents in a way that pleased God? How was my current life meaningful?

A few days later, “Twestions,” which stands for “two questions,” was born.
I’d always loved to write, and this blog is my way of trying to do something meaningful for God.

Here’s what my blog basically consists of:

Articles
  • Storyz: Girls in tough situations and how they solve their problems
  • Essays: Me on life and all the quirks that go with it.
  • MyLife: Interesting projects, experiences, etc.

Roadsigns

  • R&R: The letters stand for “read and review.” Basically, they’re reviews of books I’ve read, my thoughts on them, and whether or not I recommend them.
  • N on N: “Notes on Notes,” is basically a few words listing my favorite music, the artists, and the youtube links (if they exist)—as well as my thoughts on the lyrics.
  • PIMs: “Peeks Into the Minds” of my younger siblings, my other family members, and my parents.

God bless everyone who reads.
And may you all learn to answer God’s “twestions.”
